The twentieth century brought sweeping technological, political, and social change, reshaping religion and spirituality in public and private life. It also witnessed a revival of mystical and contemplative spirituality led by remarkable teachers. This contemplative weekend invites deeper silence and centered living through the wisdom of three figures: Howard Thurman, Martin Luther King Jr.’s mentor; Evelyn Underhill, the British writer on mysticism; and Ram Dass, an Interspiritual teacher bridging Eastern wisdom and Western psychology.
The weekend includes Centering Prayer, contemplative practices, teaching, reflection and sharing.

Carl McColman is a spiritual director, retreat leader, blogger, podcaster, and teacher on mystical spirituality and contemplative living.
