In this evening presentation, we will explore the role of music, as well as the other sacred arts, in forming our Christian beliefs. How do the liturgical arts impart that deep-felt knowledge of head and heart and faith, the knowledge that nurtures whole human persons and inspires a knowing from the inside out? The evening includes dinner, presentation and liturgy in the chapel.

Fr. Michael Driscoll

Fr. Michael Driscoll is a priest of the Diocese of Helena, Montana, and an associate professor emeritus of sacramental theology and liturgy at the University of Notre Dame. He is founding director of the graduate program in sacred music at Notre Dame and the undergraduate minor in liturgical music. He holds a Doctor of Sacred Theology degree from the Institut Catholique in Paris and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Paris, Sorbonne.
