No Ordinary Path: Holiness in Everyday Life
February 8-10, 2019
Holy Family Retreat Team
The pace of college can often leave students with the need to rest and reflect in a sacred space. On this weekend retreat for college students, we explore the retreat season theme and offer a variety of workshops to strengthen faith through learning and small-group discussion. The retreat is centered on the liturgy of the Church and enhancing the experience of community among college students. The retreat begins on Friday evening with a buffet dinner from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and concludes with Sunday brunch at noon.
About our 2018-19 Theme
God has called all of us to lives of holiness. No Ordinary Path will explore ways that we can be attentive, intentional, and cooperative with God’s grace in serving the world. Together we will take a journey, with the hope of discovering that who we are and what we do matters. We’ll reflect on how living an ordinary life of holiness can lead to extraordinary happiness and peace.
At the center of Holy Family's ministry is its dynamic retreat team which leads nearly thirty weekend retreats each year. Our team brings a wealth of experience, theological education, and inspiration to your spiritual journey. Whether we are greeting you at our door for the first time, eating a meal with you, or sharing a spiritual teaching, each member of the team embodies a spirit of hospitality, welcome, and unconditional acceptance.
