This contemplative day invites participants into the sacred story of cosmogenesis—the unfolding of the universe as a dynamic expression of divine love. Ilia Delio, who has pioneered this evolutionary vision, will offer her foundational perspectives as she guides our exploration of creation as ongoing, Christ as the heart of an evolving cosmos, and faith as conscious participation in Love’s becoming. Through reflection, silence, and shared inquiry, we will reimagine prayer, belonging, and hope within an unfinished universe alive with God’s presence
This program will be offered both in-person and online via Zoom. Information on how to access the program on Zoom will be sent to participants in advance.
This program will include a morning and an afternoon session of Centering Prayer.

Presenter Profile
Ilia Delio, OSF, PhD
Ilia Delio, OSF, PhD, is a Franciscan Sister and theologian whose work bridges science, religion, and the evolutionary nature of reality. A leading voice in cosmogenesis, she explores the universe as an unfolding expression of divine love. Ilia holds the Josephine C. Connelly Endowed Chair in Theology at Villanova University and is the award‑winning author of twenty books. Her scholarship invites a renewed, dynamic understanding of God, creation, and human becoming.
