Exploring the Magic and Medicine of the Psalms: A Common Heart Retreat

CCE Overnight Retreat
March 4-7, 2027
Thursday 3:00 p.m. to Sunday 12:00 p.m. (ET)
Rabbi Shefa Gold and Rev. Matthew Wright

On the Path of Love, we draw upon a living well of spiritual practices that foster healing, wholeness, generosity, and deep connection with ourselves and all Creation. Remembering our sacred interdependence allows love to thrive despite its challenges. The Psalms, a shared legacy of Jewish and Christian traditions, offer ancient wisdom ready to be renewed for today. In this retreat, we explore eight Psalmic themes — Gratefulness, Praise, Lament, Supplication, Exaltation, Revelation, Comfort, and Encouragement— as Interspiritual pathways of insight, resilience, and healing through reflection and shared practice together.
