Becoming An Everyday Contemplative

Contemplative Enrichment Day

Saturday, March 16, 2024
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ET)
Judith Valente

"Stillness is ... opening up an emotionally clutter-free space and allowing ourselves to feel and think and dream and question," author Brene Brown says. This is an extraordinary time when there is much chaos in our country and the world, many demands on our time, and personal pressures. This day explores simple, concrete practices we can adopt to maintain a contemplative calm, learn to embrace the current moment, and create enough space to become "everyday contemplatives."

This program will be offered both in-person and online via Zoom. Information on how to access the program on Zoom will be sent to participants in advance.

This program will include a morning and an afternoon session of Centering Prayer.

Offering: $75, includes lunch

Scholarships are available, please contact Mike Smoolca at cce@holyfamilyretreat.org for more information.
