Paper Blossoms and Flowers

Join in the fun of making paper flowers using several simple techniques including cut and paste, and folding. In this class, you will complete four different blossoms in an array of beautiful spring colors along with one paper rose. We may even have time to make a paper pinwheel.
Offering: $50.00 (includes materials and a light meal)
Kathy is a former newspaper publisher and editorial writer turned bookbinder and book artist. She has taught extensively in Connecticut and New England to both adults and children. Having exhibited extensively in Connecticut, Kathy’s work ranges from the restoration of family Bibles to original book works using metal edge binding and recycled materials. A certified Zentangle teacher, she also has received a graduate certificate in women’s spirituality at The Women’s Leadership Institute from Hartford Seminary in 2005. She is currently developing a non-profit organization committed to the training and guidance of young women. Her greatest joy, however, is spending time with her husband, Bob and her children and grandchildren.
