The Magic of Spirit Books
Saturday, October 20, 2018
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This program is being co-sponsored with the Monastery Gallery of Art
Inspired by the books of master bookbinder and calligrapher, Susan K. Gaylord, in this workshop you will create a small, simply constructed book made from handmade papers from around the world. Decorate the book pages with small trinkets, pieces of paper – or make small stitches. It’s all up to you! We will mount the book in a cradle made of natural materials you will collect from the gardens around the gallery. Feel free to bring any small personal trinkets you want to include. No artistic or book making experience required
Offering: $75.00 (includes materials and lunch)
