The internationally renowned Dutch priest and author, respected professor and beloved pastor Henri Nouwen, wrote over 40 books on the spiritual life. As we begin the journey of Lent, we will explore Nouwen’s legacy and the essential themes that radiated through his work and life. Experience the unconditional love of God that Henri Nouwen discovered and shared with the world! The day includes presentation, conversation, music, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the distribution of ashes and Mass.  

Offering: $40, includes meal.

Presenter Profile

Dr. Brandon Nappi

Dr. Brandon Nappi is Holy Family’s Associate Retreat Director. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he majored in Theology and Medieval studies. Brandon’s work has included prison ministry, adult education, and teaching meditation and mindfulness. He completed a Master of Divinity degree from Yale University and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. Brandon is also the founder and Executive Director of Copper Beech Institute. He blogs for the Huffington Post and teaches an annual course in mindfulness at Yale University.
