We are all one in the song. – Alice Parker Since the early eighteenth century, members of the Passionist Community have been carrying the message of Christ to people throughout the world. At Holy Family, we believe that the sacred act of making music, itself, is ministry. We want to share the gift of music with you in the hope that it brings gladness and comfort to you and to all who hear it. Support Our Music Ministry "I couldn't truly celebrate Christmas or Easter without your beautiful music." - Holy Family concertgoer Keep the choirs singing, the pianos tuned, the music purchased and handbells ringing! Since its inception ten years ago, Holy Family's music ministry has brought God's peace to thousands of people. Your contribution to the music ministry helps us to continue this important outreach. Ministers of Music have a unique place in the Church. For many parishes, they represent stability when changes take place, consolation when tragedy occurs, and a source of great joy when celebrations are in order. How seriously do we take the responsibility that is placed on music ministers? How seriously do the parishioners take the presence of good musicians for their worship in times of rejoicing and in times of sorrow? We will gather together to share our wisdom and experience in finding ways to increase respect for, and understanding of, the role of Church musician. Come to be a part of this worthwhile dialogue and to share in a Eucharist replete with beautiful music in an uplifting atmosphere of solemnity and prayer.
