Joan Kelly, D.Min. served as the director of religious education at St. Pius X Church in Fairfield where she received the Papal Cross from Pope John Paul II for her service to the Church. From 1994 to1997 she was assistant professor of religious studies at St. Joseph College and a consultant to the Archdiocese of Hartford. Currently, she teaches at the graduate level at Sacred Heart University and is an adjunct professor at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell.
